Where & When We Meet
Waverly Lions meetings occur on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month (6:30PM) at the Red Fox Inn. Special meetings (steak fries & Christmas) are scheduled for available locations.

What We do at Lions Meetings
Meetings are opened by the pledge of allegiance & prayer. Brief secretary’s and treasurer’s reports follow. Immediately pending committee reports/updates are given to inform the members of the status of club activities. A buffet meal precedes an evening program. Local speakers or Lions speakers give programs, but content is geared to inform the membership of current events. Additional activities (entertainment/hilarity) are provided by the club Tail Twister who levies arbitrary, often ridiculous, 25 cent fines.

What We Expect of a Member
Members are expected to regularly attend meetings in order to keep informed of club activities. As a service club, a commitment of time is expected of each member to fulfill a reasonable portion of our primary fundraising projects as well as our service projects -- you are not committed to do everything. During these fund/fun raising activities, club members have a variety of jobs that bring them into contact with the community. The impact of the Waverly Lions Club occurs because multiple members apply their skills in a variety of ways to produce a cumulative positive outcome.
