Waverly Child Care and Preschool is a non-profit service, operating under policies set by an independent Board of Directors. The center's fee-scaling program is supported by the Waverly Area United Way. Many church organizations, service groups, and individuals also make special contributions. The center provides after-school care at West Cedar Elementary School. Any child between the ages of 2 weeks to 10 is welcome at the center. The child need not be a resident of Waverly.
Waverly Child Care and Preschool's vision is to provide a quality early childhood learning community that promotes the development of the whole child in a caring environment to encourage future successes in life for all children. The goals of our program include developing social, intellectual, physical, and emotional skills.
The center is open from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. five days a week, throughout the year, except for major holidays.
