Ken Riggs, 2004 Campaign Co-Chair, has announced the United Way Kick-Off will be on September 16th at the Fast Stop, on the south edge of Waverly.
From 4-7 PM, grilled brats and burgers will be available and the Fat Stop will donate 50 cents for each sandwich sold. Local celebrities will pump gas. When purchasing gas, customers will receive a 10 cent per gallon kick-back from the gas company. KWAY will broadcast from the Fast Stop and United Way brochures will be handed out all day.
